Its graphic may be outdated by today’s standard, but the gameplay is still the good old Mario that we play today. It’s timeless.

Similar to Tetris, Bejeweled is another classic puzzle game that many gamers still revisit today. Released in 2001, this game has spawned a huge myriad of sequels and is an inspiration for many puzzle games today – the successful Candy Crush is a shining example of this. The gameplay is simple and intuitive, and it’s fun to boot.

The Legend of Zelda – Ocarina of Time is an adventure game released in 1998. It’s the fifth installment in the Legend of Zelda series and the first one that utilizes 3D graphics.

In this game, the player controls Link – our usual protagonist and goes on a quest in the land of Hyrule to stop Ganondorf – the main villain.

Although the series has had many sequels, prequels, and spin-offs since 1998, you can still see may players revisiting this game on Nintendo platform. It has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide until now and is regarded by many as the best video game of all time. And even without the modern graphic, the gameplay and story still work amazingly, making it a classic no matter how old you are.

5. Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger is considered by many JRPG fans as the best JRPG ever made. Between the intriguing story, tight combat and amazing soundtracks, you can’t really find any wrong with this game. It came out in 1995 and yet you can find people playing this game to this day. A true timeless classic that will always have a special place in the heart of fans of the RPG genre.
